I was surprised to hear that this was going in on so close to home.
I thought pirates were a thing of the past.
I really think the governments involved should help each other to
battle this problem. This is such an important area for trade in the world.
I hope that no more people get hurt or injured by the pirates and the police put them
in jail!

in my opinion,we don't really care about this matter because it's not really related to us as we're staying in town so we don't know what was happening over there. Furthermore,we got no rights to control and take action on this incident happened. But of course,we hope that the police will take action and solve this problem so that it wont get more serious. Malaysia government should take care of our country so that it won't be attacked by other countries. Punishment should be given to the attackers so that they wont do this again. Besides,government should encourage more people to take care of our country.

Actually,we are not really care about this incident at all.
This is because is too far away from our life.We are not living at the sea,so we don't realise how serious the problem was.
However,after we had read about this acticle,we think is necessary for our government to look into this serious matter.
They should think or find a efficient method to solve this problem as soon as possible.
Our government should try to prevent this problem happen again.
It might threatened our resident's safety. Our government should provide a peaceful country to all the residents.

Im really shocked to hear this news. Maybe it wasnt so inportant to do someting against pirates when this place wasnt one of a biggest area for trading. So goverment must be responsible to stop piracy. They should send more navies and tugs to control the staits. Its a tragic news in 21century .... several crewmen is kidnapped!

Same here. Pirate near malaysia is really unbelievable considering malaysia's not a country very much involved in sea transports.I never thought that much oil was passing throug near here.
If this continues I think this would affect the world trade if the governments did not take an immediate actions.
